Simon Abramson is the Associate Director of Wild Earth, a non-profit ensuring that every person has the opportunity to explore, learn and play in nature. Over the past ten years, Simon has led and overseen nature connection and coming-of-age programming for thousands of youth and adults. Simon has a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont where he focused on exploring the relationship between a healthy psyche and a vibrant natural world. Co-creator of permaculture co-housing in High Falls, co-founder of Kol Hai: Hudson Valley Jewish Renewal, and an alumni of Elat Chayyim’s Eco-Spiritual Jewish Intentional Community, Simon looks to tight knit communal connections for regenerative, life affirming solutions to today’s challenges. Father of three daughters under five, Simon is often underslept, overjoyed and covered in children.
