John Sirabella is the Marketing and Communications Director for the Garrison Institute. Before working at the Institute, John was Communications Director for a program of Public Health Solutions (PHS), focusing on media relations, advocacy, and tobacco control policy in New York City. Before PHS, he was the Director of Marketing and Program Management of BusinessTalk, Inc., a communications skills training firm. For more than fifteen years, he marketed, promoted and distributed films for the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), the world’s leading Academy Award®-winning public producer of social issue documentaries and animation. John has taught film history and criticism at The New School. He holds a masters degree in English from New York University and another masters degree in Media Studies from The New School.
