Jenn is the Director of Programs at The Sylvia Center at Katchkie Farm, located in Kinderhook, NY. The mission of The Sylvia Center (TSC) is to inspire young people and their families to eat well through hands-on learning experiences on the farm and in the kitchen. Jenn began working at her parents’ restaurant at the age of 10 and has never known a time when food was not at the center of her life. As a child of immigrants, she has been deeply influenced by the role food plays in teaching values and culture. She has over a decade of experience working in the food world in diverse capacities: in restaurants, film catering, startups and culinary education. Jenn is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where she received her BA in Film Studies in 2010 and holds an MA in Food Studies from NYU.
