{"id":9508,"date":"2021-02-17T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-17T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/goodworkinstitute.org\/?p=9508"},"modified":"2021-05-27T20:14:14","modified_gmt":"2021-05-27T20:14:14","slug":"our-internal-racial-justice-learning-journey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodworkinstitute.org\/es\/our-internal-racial-justice-learning-journey\/","title":{"rendered":"Nuestro viaje interno de aprendizaje de la justicia racial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Poco despu\u00e9s de que GWI iniciara la transici\u00f3n para convertirse en una organizaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro autodirigida por los trabajadores a mediados de 2019, uno de los procesos a los que nos sometimos fue examinar la din\u00e1mica de poder que exist\u00eda en nuestra organizaci\u00f3n, algo que llamamos un <a href=\"https:\/\/goodworkinstitute.org\/es\/blog\/set-down-those-bags\/\">Din\u00e1mica Reset.<\/a> Aunque los seis trabajadores fideicomisarios valoraban la idea del \"buen trabajo\", nuestro compromiso con el marco de la transici\u00f3n justa nos impidi\u00f3 cuestionar y reconocer la presencia de din\u00e1micas raciales inconscientes en nuestro equipo (compuesto por 3 trabajadores blancos y 3 BIPOC). <a href=\"https:\/\/goodworkinstitute.org\/es\/blog\/the-learning-circle-humbly-traveling-alongside\/\">C\u00edrculo de aprendizaje<\/a> facilitar sesiones internas de aprendizaje sobre la promoci\u00f3n de la justicia racial dentro de nuestra propia organizaci\u00f3n. Poco sab\u00edamos que 2020 estaba a la vuelta de la esquina, y que las voces en nuestras calles gritando \"Black Lives Matter\" arrojar\u00edan focos sobre lo que algunos parecen haber sido incapaces o no estar dispuestos a reconocer: el racismo sist\u00e9mico y la injusticia son cuestiones perennes en la sociedad estadounidense, y que las tensiones raciales, la violencia y el impacto racista persisten en nuestras comunidades. M\u00e1s a\u00fan, estas dolorosas din\u00e1micas pueden operar tanto consciente como inconscientemente dentro de nuestros hogares y lugares de trabajo, dando lugar a un mal manejo del poder, relaciones inaut\u00e9nticas y talentos y potenciales sofocados.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfC\u00f3mo empezar a abordar un tema tan profundo e inc\u00f3modo como el racismo en un entorno laboral? Una cosa que acordamos Susan y yo en el C\u00edrculo de Aprendizaje fue que lo har\u00edamos despacio. No se trataba de terminar y marcar una casilla. Sab\u00edamos que no \u00edbamos a abarcar, ni est\u00e1bamos preparados para hacerlo, todo lo que uno podr\u00eda esperar al recorrer este camino. No iba a ser algo aislado, sino un viaje que proporcionar\u00eda a los trabajadores el espacio suficiente para acceder al valor, la vulnerabilidad y el tiempo necesarios para compartir nuestras verdades e integrar lo que est\u00e1bamos aprendiendo en nuestro ser y en nuestra pr\u00e1ctica. Tambi\u00e9n sab\u00edamos que necesit\u00e1bamos un proceso que tuviera una duraci\u00f3n determinada para que pudi\u00e9ramos llevarlo a cabo y no posponerlo porque nos pareciera demasiado desalentador.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GWI se hab\u00eda referido anteriormente al paradigma rector de \"cabeza, coraz\u00f3n y manos\" en el dise\u00f1o de nuestro programa de becas. Utilizamos ese mismo marco para planificar esta experiencia de aprendizaje. Determinamos tres objetivos para dirigirnos a la cabeza, el coraz\u00f3n y las manos. As\u00ed es como el C\u00edrculo de Aprendizaje expres\u00f3 estos objetivos:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A lo largo de varias sesiones de aprendizaje, pretendemos ayudar a nuestro equipo a profundizar en el principio impulsor de la justicia racial y la equidad social de la Transici\u00f3n Justa. Nos gustar\u00eda centrarnos inicialmente en la justicia racial, con el objetivo de:&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>Desarrollar una base compartida de la historia del racismo, en particular los aspectos con relevancia en la actualidad, incluido el clima pol\u00edtico actual, y esta pandemia global (cabeza).<\/em><\/li><li><em>Apoyarnos para adquirir individual y colectivamente una conciencia m\u00e1s profunda que nos ayude a cambiar nuestras acciones en nuestras relaciones interpersonales de trabajo, din\u00e1micas de equipo (coraz\u00f3n \/ manos).<\/em><\/li><li><em>Permitirnos integrar la comprensi\u00f3n de los legados del privilegio racial en nuestros esfuerzos por cumplir la misi\u00f3n de GWI de cultivar, conectar, apoyar, iluminar formas de resistir a nuestro sistema econ\u00f3mico extractivo y construir uno regenerativo (manos).<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Para materializar estas intenciones, todo nuestro equipo particip\u00f3 en seis sesiones de aprendizaje (dos por cada objetivo) a lo largo de cinco meses. Cada sesi\u00f3n dur\u00f3 entre noventa minutos y dos horas. En la mayor\u00eda de ellas, los trabajadores tuvieron que realizar alg\u00fan tipo de trabajo previo (leer art\u00edculos, ver v\u00eddeos, escribir historias personales, etc.). Participamos en el trabajo de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YBYUET24K1c\">Carol Anderson<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SQ6H-Mz6hgw\"> Michelle Alexander<\/a>y <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seattlechannel.org\/embedvideoplayer?videoid=x59621\">Leticia Nieto<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.raceforward.org\/trainings\">Formaci\u00f3n Race Forward<\/a> (entre otros recursos.) Escribimos y compartimos historias personales que se remontan a experiencias de la infancia en las que nos enfrentamos a la identidad racial, el poder y una sociedad racista. Absorbimos y procesamos los comentarios de los miembros de nuestra Red y empezamos a identificar formas de convertirnos en una organizaci\u00f3n que promueva claramente la justicia racial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concluimos esta serie reconociendo que, aunque este C\u00edrculo de Aprendizaje hab\u00eda concluido, nuestro aprendizaje individual y colectivo continuar\u00eda y deb\u00eda continuar.
