Horath<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"\u00a1Esto no es normal!\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo necesitaba. Me liber\u00f3 de algo. Est\u00e1bamos en una reuni\u00f3n de todos, y el tema relativamente benigno sobre la mesa era c\u00f3mo quer\u00edamos utilizar los esfuerzos de seguimiento del tiempo para entender c\u00f3mo nuestros objetivos individuales coincid\u00edan con el tiempo que nos asign\u00e1bamos a nosotros mismos para esos objetivos, semana a semana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero lo que realmente est\u00e1 sobre la mesa para m\u00ed es esta impotente sensaci\u00f3n de arenas movedizas, succionando mi tiempo y energ\u00eda vital, mientras lucho, como todos nosotros, para mantenerme erguida y seguir adelante en la arremolinada realidad de vivir una pandemia. \u00daltimamente, me siento cada vez m\u00e1s desanimada, a medida que pasan los meses, mientras mis dos hijos entran y salen del colegio, entran y salen de la cuarentena por posibles contactos directos, y entran y salen de un ritmo de vida familiar que permite dedicar el tiempo suficiente para trabajar. S\u00e9 que todos mis compa\u00f1eros de trabajo se enfrentan a problemas similares, a un caos intermitente. Mientras oigo a mi colega decir brusca y amablemente: \"\u00a1Esto no es normal!\", y me mira fijamente a trav\u00e9s de nuestras peque\u00f1as pantallas Zoom, mientras veo las cinco caras de mis compa\u00f1eros de trabajo, asintiendo con comprensi\u00f3n, mientras lucho a trav\u00e9s de una neblina de migra\u00f1a, se me ocurre que he estado, de hecho, tratando de hacer que todo esto sea normal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfNo es eso lo que hacemos los humanos? Estamos dotados de la capacidad de buscar patrones y darles sentido. Somos capaces de adaptarnos con notable rapidez a las nuevas circunstancias. Estamos preparados para afrontar desastres y reconstruir o rehacer nuestras vidas. Lo hacemos una y otra vez, a lo grande y a lo peque\u00f1o. Acabo de leer \"American Dirt\", donde una mujer mexicana de clase media propietaria de una librer\u00eda en Ciudad de M\u00e9xico tiene que adaptarse, en pocas horas, a ser una emigrante a la fuga con su hijo, escapando de la violencia, huyendo, recelosa, estrat\u00e9gica en sus elecciones imposibles. Mi propia situaci\u00f3n no es comparable, obviamente: Tengo estabilidad, privilegios, salud, seguridad. Soy hiperconsciente de ello, y desacredito cualquier signo de autoindulgencia o autocompasi\u00f3n sensiblera. Sigo adelante. Sin embargo, en este momento, en el que tengo que enfrentarme a los aspectos b\u00e1sicos de c\u00f3mo se supone que debo pasar ocho horas al d\u00eda mientras atravieso lo que parece una tormenta cegadora, estoy incre\u00edblemente agradecida de tener un lugar de trabajo que es REAL, donde podemos parar y decir las cosas como son. ESTO NO ES NORMAL. No est\u00e1s solo en esto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hay muchos art\u00edculos manidos por ah\u00ed sobre c\u00f3mo la pandemia ha puesto a prueba a los l\u00edderes de todo el espectro. Yo digo, <em>compartido<\/em><em> el liderazgo est\u00e1 hecho para ser puesto a prueba<\/em>. Incluso en circunstancias \"normales\", se considera un reto adicional asumir el liderazgo compartido como forma estructural y comprometida de gobernanza democr\u00e1tica. Creo que esta postura se debe a que no se sabe mucho al respecto. De hecho, yo tambi\u00e9n ir\u00eda m\u00e1s lejos y dir\u00eda que, cuando nos enfrentamos a un desastre o a un cambio r\u00e1pido, el liderazgo compartido es m\u00e1s eficaz, m\u00e1s resistente, m\u00e1s sabio y tiene m\u00e1s fundamento. \u00bfCu\u00e1ntos l\u00edderes solitarios se han quemado por el estr\u00e9s, la presi\u00f3n y la imposibilidad de tener todas las habilidades y experiencias vitales para liderar por s\u00ed solos a trav\u00e9s de verdaderas turbulencias? El culto a los h\u00e9roes nos aboca al fracaso y a la decepci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compartir las cargas y las alegr\u00edas del liderazgo significa que nosotros, como individuos, tenemos la posibilidad de descansar, o incluso de tropezar, porque otros pueden soportar el peso a veces. No siempre tienes que llevar la peor parte del viento en contra, \u00bfrecuerdas? \u00a1As\u00ed es como esos gansos de alto vuelo navegan a trav\u00e9s de miles de kil\u00f3metros!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En GWI, hemos pasado la mayor parte de dos a\u00f1os en un viaje hacia la adopci\u00f3n, la pr\u00e1ctica y el sentimiento de autenticidad en nuestra estructura de liderazgo compartido. Aproximadamente a mitad de ese camino, nos golpe\u00f3 la cat\u00e1strofe mundial de esta pandemia. Recuerdo muy claramente el momento en que nos dimos cuenta de lo que significaba este virus, a medida que surg\u00edan los hechos, a medida que se afianzaba, a medida que la econom\u00eda se desplomaba, a medida que crec\u00edan los efectos domin\u00f3, y lo \u00edbamos descubriendo juntos. En ese entorno inestable, cuando tantas organizaciones y empresas tuvieron que adaptarse, pivotar o cerrar, nosotros tambi\u00e9n tuvimos que revisar a fondo nuestro trabajo. Pero hicimos m\u00e1s que eso. Nos fijamos en el conjunto de nuestro equipo -qui\u00e9n ten\u00eda ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os en casa, qui\u00e9n se enfrentaba a una enfermedad, qui\u00e9n ten\u00eda que vivir separado de sus familiares, qui\u00e9n necesitaba tiempo extra- y nos unimos en solidaridad, con la claridad de que el prop\u00f3sito del viaje era compartir este trabajo y tambi\u00e9n permanecer conectados con la realidad de que atravesamos tiempos profundamente anormales.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00ed, dirigimos una organizaci\u00f3n juntos, y s\u00ed, conseguimos mantenerla en marcha y hacer pivotar nuestros programas para servir a nuestra misi\u00f3n a pesar de las dificultades. \u00bfC\u00f3mo lo hacemos? Creo que nuestros principios vividos de responsabilidad compartida, de confianza radical y de transparencia nos permiten apoyarnos mutuamente como personas reales, afrontando el hecho de que s\u00ed, a veces nos sentimos agotados. No necesitamos hacer referencia o adoptar el barniz estoico del l\u00edder solitario y profesional. Es seguro tropezar. Por lo tanto, somos un grupo de personas con una gran capacidad de recuperaci\u00f3n que comparte el liderazgo. A medida que avanzamos juntos en estos tiempos dif\u00edciles, vivimos semana a semana la verdadera y plena medida de esta experiencia.
