{"id":2920,"date":"2020-03-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-24T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goodworkinstitute.org\/crisis-decisionmaking-in-a-wsdnp\/"},"modified":"2021-05-27T22:02:55","modified_gmt":"2021-05-27T22:02:55","slug":"crisis-decisionmaking-in-a-wsdnp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodworkinstitute.org\/es\/crisis-decisionmaking-in-a-wsdnp\/","title":{"rendered":"Toma de decisiones en caso de crisis en una WSDNP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El martes 10 de marzo de 2020, uno de los facilitadores del taller Desarrollo de una pr\u00e1ctica de equidad social que GWI hab\u00eda comenzado a planificar en agosto de 2019 escribi\u00f3 para plantear preguntas sobre los planes de contingencia de ask, y si se hab\u00eda pensado en posponer o cancelar el evento. Los miembros del C\u00edrculo de la Academia se pusieron r\u00e1pidamente en contacto entre s\u00ed y luego respondieron que, con un solo caso en el condado de Ulster, sent\u00edamos que deb\u00edamos seguir adelante, y en el taller enfatizar formas de tener cuidado en nuestro contacto con los dem\u00e1s.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El jueves, 12 de marzo de 2020, decidimos reprogramar el taller despu\u00e9s de la COVID-19<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecut.com\/2020\/03\/who-declares-coronavirus-a-pandemic-what-does-that-mean.html\"> pandemia<\/a> est\u00e1 bajo control. Escribimos a los participantes: \"Aunque nos decepciona que esto no vaya a ocurrir tan pronto como estaba previsto, en \u00faltima instancia nos damos cuenta de que ser\u00eda un reto participar plenamente en el taller en el contexto de tanta incertidumbre y ansiedad y que, como GWI, tenemos que desempe\u00f1ar un papel de distanciamiento social para ayudar a proteger a los miembros vulnerables de nuestras comunidades.\" Esta declaraci\u00f3n se refiere a <strong>qu\u00e9 <\/strong>que decidimos, y un par de razones fundamentales por las que lo hicimos. He estado reflexionando sobre lo que aprend\u00ed de <strong>c\u00f3mo<\/strong> tomamos la decisi\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mi\u00e9rcoles entre las dos fechas mencionadas, nuestra comunidad expres\u00f3 su preocupaci\u00f3n general por el hecho de que, si no se cancelaban las reuniones del Invernadero, podr\u00edamos estar contribuyendo a avanzar por el camino en el que se encontraba Italia y que condujo a un colapso de su sistema sanitario. Los participantes empezaron a preguntarnos si el taller podr\u00eda cancelarse.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A la ma\u00f1ana siguiente, distintos miembros del C\u00edrculo de la Academia, compuesto por m\u00ed y otros dos fideicomisarios trabajadores de GWI, expresaron inclinaciones y aversiones a cancelar con reflexiones personales, como \"por un lado, no puedo decir si estoy siendo inflexible, pero por otro, ten\u00eda sue\u00f1os preocupantes sobre c\u00f3mo gestionar el taller con seguridad\" o \"estoy intentando mirar esto desde fuera de m\u00ed mismo, porque no soy precavido\" o \" me siento en conflicto, y he aqu\u00ed por qu\u00e9...\". Despu\u00e9s de algunas idas y venidas, llegamos a la conclusi\u00f3n de que se trataba de la comunidad y que no pod\u00edamos responder solos, sin su aportaci\u00f3n. Acordamos ponernos en contacto con los participantes y pedirles que nos dijeran si les parec\u00eda bien seguir adelante con el taller. Los participantes respondieron con aportaciones y expresaron sus preocupaciones. Procesando con el equipo de facilitaci\u00f3n nuestras propias inclinaciones iniciales, las opiniones de los participantes y la informaci\u00f3n adicional sobre el virus que lleg\u00f3 a lo largo del d\u00eda, llegamos a la decisi\u00f3n de cancelar.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A primera vista, esta historia puede parecer normal. Son innumerables las situaciones similares que se han producido entre bastidores en nuestras comunidades. Sobre lo que he estado reflexionando es sobre lo diferente que podr\u00eda haber sido la situaci\u00f3n en un contexto jer\u00e1rquico. En un contexto en el que una persona est\u00e1 facultada para tomar la decisi\u00f3n final, puedo imaginarme sopesando las variables, llegando a una posici\u00f3n e intentando defenderla. La notable ausencia de lucha por una posici\u00f3n ganadora permiti\u00f3 a los miembros del C\u00edrculo de la Academia que tomaron esta decisi\u00f3n ser transparentes entre s\u00ed sobre la compleja gama de nuestras opiniones y dudas; abrirnos a m\u00faltiples perspectivas de los dem\u00e1s, de los participantes, de los facilitadores y de nuestra comunidad en general; escuchar; cambiar; y llegar a un acuerdo. Cuando reflexionamos sobre nuestra decisi\u00f3n, estaba claro que todos nos sent\u00edamos bien por c\u00f3mo hab\u00edamos llegado a ella. Para m\u00ed, fue como si hubi\u00e9ramos recorrido juntos un camino de apoyo mutuo. En lugar de posicionarnos por el poder, tuve una fuerte sensaci\u00f3n de acompa\u00f1amiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recuerdo una reuni\u00f3n en los primeros meses de funcionamiento como WSDNP en la que dije en\u00e9rgica y apasionadamente algo parecido a: \"<strong>c\u00f3mo<\/strong> lo es todo\". But even with this strong foundation, he struggled with fear of the world, a lack of motivation, and what would have most likely been diagnosed as depression. Through time, deep self-work, fatherhood, and connection, Micah learned to discard the self-defining term \u201cshy\u201d, understanding that he doesn\u2019t need to define himself at all, but rather is free to feel and act as he chooses in the present. With this new awareness, Micah began forging a new path. Micah creci\u00f3 en Mt. Pero incluso con esta s\u00f3lida base, luch\u00f3 contra el miedo al mundo, la falta de motivaci\u00f3n y lo que probablemente se habr\u00eda diagnosticado como depresi\u00f3n. Con el tiempo, un profundo trabajo personal, la paternidad y la conexi\u00f3n, Micah aprendi\u00f3 a descartar el t\u00e9rmino \"t\u00edmido\", entendiendo que no necesita definirse a s\u00ed mismo, sino que es libre de sentir y actuar como quiera en el presente. Con esta nueva conciencia, Micah empez\u00f3 a forjarse un nuevo camino.
