Los c\u00edrculos funcionan como subgrupos del equipo de seis miembros de GWI; cada c\u00edrculo se centra en un aspecto espec\u00edfico de la organizaci\u00f3n. Tenemos tres c\u00edrculos organizativos (Operaciones, Desarrollo y Comunicaciones), cuatro c\u00edrculos de programas (Red, Academia, Alianza, Invernadero), un C\u00edrculo de Aprendizaje para el aprendizaje y el desarrollo internos, y todos somos miembros del C\u00edrculo General, que funciona como c\u00edrculo ejecutivo y de gobierno. Adem\u00e1s, para proyectos especiales o para realizar una tarea espec\u00edfica, podemos proponer, crear y unirnos a subc\u00edrculos temporales (por ejemplo, Identidad Visual o Pol\u00edtica de Compensaci\u00f3n). Algunos miembros de los c\u00edrculos son miembros permanentes, otros son Stewards (L\u00edderes) de esos c\u00edrculos, y algunos trabajadores est\u00e1n en rotaciones temporales en un c\u00edrculo. Cuando los trabajadores son miembros de varios c\u00edrculos y los c\u00edrculos funcionan como entidades relativamente aut\u00f3nomas, la situaci\u00f3n puede resultar compleja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de esta aparente complejidad, el objetivo de la estructura en c\u00edrculo es claro: dar voz a todos, crear apoyo para los distintos tipos de trabajo, equilibrar la asignaci\u00f3n de tiempo y las prioridades de cada trabajador, y hacer que todos los trabajadores compartan las responsabilidades de los ejercicios de visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s elevados y las tareas m\u00e1s mundanas. La estructura en c\u00edrculo no s\u00f3lo garantiza que el trabajo se haga y que aprovechemos la variedad de nuestra experiencia y habilidades, sino que tambi\u00e9n crea una forma de <em>democratizar<\/em> el trabajo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los c\u00edrculos tienen el mandato de cumplir su prop\u00f3sito sin pedir la aprobaci\u00f3n de otros c\u00edrculos; en ese sentido, son aut\u00f3nomos. Sin embargo, como todo proceso democr\u00e1tico, puede ser complicado. \u00bfQu\u00e9 ocurre cuando el trabajo de un c\u00edrculo choca con el de otro? \u00bfQu\u00e9 pasa cuando dos c\u00edrculos aut\u00f3nomos tienen que tomar una decisi\u00f3n juntos, o incluso pueden estar trabajando con objetivos opuestos, sin saberlo? \u00bfQui\u00e9n tiene la \u00faltima palabra? Los canales claros de comunicaci\u00f3n son esenciales, por supuesto, as\u00ed como la capacidad de discernir d\u00f3nde recae la responsabilidad de la toma de decisiones. Se trata m\u00e1s de una pr\u00e1ctica continua que de buscar respuestas en nuestras pol\u00edticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su naturaleza, nuestro trabajo en el Instituto del Buen Trabajo se solapa, es interdependiente y est\u00e1 interrelacionado. En nuestros c\u00edrculos, lo vemos en acci\u00f3n todo el tiempo. Por ejemplo, el dise\u00f1o y la puesta en marcha de una nueva \u00e1rea de programa corresponde a ese c\u00edrculo, y los miembros de ese c\u00edrculo son responsables de su puesta en marcha y de su \u00e9xito. Pero tambi\u00e9n significa que los trabajadores deben ser sensibles a la forma en que su trabajo puede estar afectando o conectando con las prioridades de otro c\u00edrculo. De hecho, suele haber ocasiones en que el trabajo se solapa, y en que ciertas decisiones afectan a algo m\u00e1s que al \u00e1rea de responsabilidad del c\u00edrculo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todos somos embajadores de cada uno de nuestros c\u00edrculos y, por tanto, todos tenemos la responsabilidad de garantizar la transparencia y el consentimiento necesario entre los dem\u00e1s c\u00edrculos afectados por nuestro trabajo. Hemos desarrollado un sentido para ello y seguimos aprendiendo de este acto de equilibrio entre autonom\u00eda, confianza e interdependencia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hay algunas t\u00e1cticas de comunicaci\u00f3n que utilizamos cuando nos encontramos con un caso de solapamiento del trabajo de los c\u00edrculos, y cuando hay que tomar decisiones en t\u00e1ndem o en tri\u00e1ngulo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cuando hay una cuesti\u00f3n de mandato (es decir, qui\u00e9n tiene la decisi\u00f3n), entablamos la conversaci\u00f3n, c\u00edrculo a c\u00edrculo, y llegamos a un entendimiento y a un plan de juego compartido.<\/li><li>Informamos al otro c\u00edrculo o c\u00edrculos de una decisi\u00f3n inminente con claridad sobre la petici\u00f3n y el calendario.<\/li><li>Si el otro o los otros c\u00edrculos est\u00e1n convencidos de que el mandato es suyo, la decisi\u00f3n queda en suspenso hasta que se pueda mantener una conversaci\u00f3n y llegar a un consenso.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Como ocurre con cualquier grupo peque\u00f1o y comprometido de personas con mentalidad independiente que se esfuerzan por llevar a cabo una misi\u00f3n compartida, nos enfrentamos continuamente a la importancia del consentimiento y de una estructuraci\u00f3n inteligente para apoyar la democratizaci\u00f3n de nuestro trabajo. But even with this strong foundation, he struggled with fear of the world, a lack of motivation, and what would have most likely been diagnosed as depression. Through time, deep self-work, fatherhood, and connection, Micah learned to discard the self-defining term \u201cshy\u201d, understanding that he doesn\u2019t need to define himself at all, but rather is free to feel and act as he chooses in the present. With this new awareness, Micah began forging a new path.
