Gracias a todos los que han seguido la serie de blogs de GWI sobre nuestra transici\u00f3n a una organizaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro autogestionada por los trabajadores. La respuesta ha sido incre\u00edblemente positiva y nos ha hecho reflexionar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haremos un breve par\u00e9ntesis en nuestras publicaciones mientras terminamos 2019 y nos preparamos para poner en marcha nuestros planes para 2020. Hemos estado teniendo algunas grandes conversaciones sobre lo que vamos a compartir cuando reanudemos la publicaci\u00f3n en enero. Algo en lo que hemos estado pensando mucho es c\u00f3mo funcionan los roles en una organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro autodirigida por los trabajadores y c\u00f3mo trabajamos juntos en nuestras diversas capacidades como miembros del c\u00edrculo, trabajadores y fideicomisarios de la organizaci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n tenemos un mont\u00f3n de nuevas pol\u00edticas a las que estamos dando los toques finales, y que compartiremos con todos vosotros tan pronto como sean aprobadas por nuestro C\u00edrculo General y el Consejo de GWI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Micah grew up in Mt.Vernon, NY with a family of strong women who guided him and showed him how to work with purpose and love while serving community, as well as a father who taught him to always widen his perspective. But even with this strong foundation, he struggled with fear of the world, a lack of motivation, and what would have most likely been diagnosed as depression. Through time, deep self-work, fatherhood, and connection, Micah learned to discard the self-defining term \u201cshy\u201d, understanding that he doesn\u2019t need to define himself at all, but rather is free to feel and act as he chooses in the present. With this new awareness, Micah began forging a new path.
