GWI se compromete a desempe\u00f1ar el papel que nos corresponde para co-crear este camino con aquellos cuyos esfuerzos est\u00e1n haciendo posible la Transici\u00f3n Justa. En humilde reconocimiento del hecho de que no viajamos por delante, sino junto a las personas, proyectos y organizaciones de nuestra red, el C\u00edrculo de Aprendizaje dedica tiempo, espacio y recursos internamente para construir la comprensi\u00f3n y el conjunto de habilidades de los trabajadores de GWI para que estemos en integridad y mejor equipados para facilitar, encarnar personalmente y modelar colectivamente la Transici\u00f3n Justa.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~C\u00edrculo de Aprendizaje de GWI<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ser madre ha sido la experiencia m\u00e1s exigente y una de las m\u00e1s transformadoras de mi vida. Como muchas madres, quer\u00eda hacer las cosas \"bien\" en esto de la paternidad, y me encontraba vagando por la secci\u00f3n de paternidad de las librer\u00edas, abierta a la posibilidad de descubrir un libro que me ayudara a minimizar los errores que comet\u00eda en mi empe\u00f1o por criar ni\u00f1os felices y sanos que estuvieran bien preparados para la vida. En mi exploraci\u00f3n, un par de libros acabaron interes\u00e1ndome, y uno de ellos cobr\u00f3 especial relevancia: T<em>l padre consciente<\/em> por la Dra. Shefali Tsabary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este libro, el Dr. Tsabary cuestiona el modelo jer\u00e1rquico de paternidad que presupone que el trabajo de un padre es ense\u00f1arle a su hijo qui\u00e9n debe ser. En su lugar, Tsabary sostiene que cada ni\u00f1o es \"un esp\u00edritu que palpita con su propia firma\"; que son espejos y, en \u00faltima instancia, los maestros espirituales de los padres. Los padres pueden proporcionar orientaci\u00f3n, seguridad, cuidado y l\u00edmites, pero para establecer una conexi\u00f3n aut\u00e9ntica con nuestros hijos, debemos ser valientes, aut\u00e9nticos y humildes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mientras GWI contin\u00faa su trabajo dentro del marco organizativo de una organizaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro autodirigida por los trabajadores y el marco de la misi\u00f3n de la Transici\u00f3n Justa, somos conscientes de que no somos la autoridad en ninguno de estos modelos. Para apoyarnos en nuestro continuo viaje como aprendices permanentes, hemos creado el C\u00edrculo de Aprendizaje como parte de la estructura de nuestra organizaci\u00f3n. El prop\u00f3sito de este C\u00edrculo es guiar nuestras propias experiencias de aprendizaje interno para que podamos ampliar nuestros conocimientos, herramientas y habilidades con el fin de ser agentes de cambio de la Transici\u00f3n Justa cada vez m\u00e1s informados y capaces, individual y colectivamente.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El C\u00edrculo de Aprendizaje crea un plan de estudios para nuestro equipo y programa ofertas mensuales en las que participamos juntos. Desde sesiones de tres horas centradas en uno de los cinco principios rectores de la transici\u00f3n justa o en habilidades de comunicaci\u00f3n no violenta hasta almuerzos de una hora y media con dinamos regionales del cambio social, estas formaciones no pretenden convertirnos en expertos, sino ayudarnos a desarrollar nuestras capacidades y apoyar nuestra integridad a la hora de hacer nuestro buen trabajo.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuestro C\u00edrculo de Aprendizaje inicial est\u00e1 formado por dos miembros de nuestro equipo. Cada seis meses, un trabajador del C\u00edrculo de Aprendizaje abandonar\u00e1 el c\u00edrculo y otro trabajador se incorporar\u00e1 a \u00e9l. Cada persona del equipo de GWI aporta pasiones, experiencias, conocimientos, puntos fuertes y d\u00e9biles espec\u00edficos, y esta rotaci\u00f3n permite a todo el equipo informar sobre nuestra evoluci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su libro <em>Deja que hable tu vida: Escuchar la voz de la vocaci\u00f3n<\/em>Parker Palmer dice: \"Estamos aqu\u00ed no s\u00f3lo para transformar el mundo, sino tambi\u00e9n para ser transformados\". El Valle del Hudson es el hogar de una tremenda comunidad de apasionados, perspicaces y comprometidos guerreros del amor y la paz, que luchan por una Transici\u00f3n Justa para la regi\u00f3n. But even with this strong foundation, he struggled with fear of the world, a lack of motivation, and what would have most likely been diagnosed as depression. Through time, deep self-work, fatherhood, and connection, Micah learned to discard the self-defining term \u201cshy\u201d, understanding that he doesn\u2019t need to define himself at all, but rather is free to feel and act as he chooses in the present. With this new awareness, Micah began forging a new path.
