Emprendedora social, artista y constructora de comunidades, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne cuenta con una amplia experiencia en la nueva econom\u00eda y las pr\u00e1cticas empresariales, el coworking y las cooperativas, el teatro y el arte contempor\u00e1neos, la inversi\u00f3n en fases tempranas y las startups, la administraci\u00f3n de organizaciones sin \u00e1nimo de lucro y un gran compromiso y amor por el Valle del Hudson.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne se une a nuestro equipo en un momento importante de la evoluci\u00f3n del Good Work Institute. Junto con nuestra transici\u00f3n a una organizaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro autodirigida por los trabajadores y a un marco de transici\u00f3n justa, estamos tratando de asegurar el futuro de nuestro trabajo a trav\u00e9s de una profunda asociaci\u00f3n y colaboraci\u00f3n en toda la comunidad del GWI. Llegu\u00e9 al Valle del Hudson en 2005 para trabajar en el Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico Rensselaer, donde fui comisaria fundadora del EMPAC, el Centro Experimental de Medios de Comunicaci\u00f3n y Artes Esc\u00e9nicas, y no esperaba quedarme tanto tiempo. Pero, como otros antes que yo, he encontrado aqu\u00ed un hogar que combina la belleza natural y una historia inspiradora con comunidades sofisticadas, contempor\u00e1neas y a escala humana. Nos enfrentamos a muchos de los mismos retos que otras regiones del pa\u00eds y, por ello, si lo hacemos bien, tenemos el potencial de crear un efecto domin\u00f3 positivo. Por eso estoy tan emocionada de unirme al Good Work Institute, con una misi\u00f3n centrada en el cambio de sistemas: construir el tipo de econom\u00eda y comunidad que pueda resistir los cambios que se avecinan con gracia, pensados para personas reales, por la propia comunidad.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de su trabajo en desarrollo y comunicaciones, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne colaborar\u00e1 en la planificaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica, el desarrollo de nuevos programas y la gesti\u00f3n organizativa como Administradora Laboral y miembro del C\u00edrculo General. Aporta una gran experiencia a todas sus funciones, perfeccionada en su reciente trabajo como directora de la aceleradora de startups de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trillions.co\/\">Los Trillones Co<\/a> e incubadora <a href=\"https:\/\/idealabny.com\/\">Idealab NY<\/a>asociada en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idealabx.vc\/\">IdealabX<\/a>el fondo de riesgo inicial; miembro del consejo de administraci\u00f3n de <a href=\"https:\/\/start.coop\/\">Inicio.coop<\/a>una aceleradora de cooperativas con sede en Boston; y como cofundador y director general de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coworkwith.co\/\">CO<\/a>un espacio cooperativo de coworking y eventos en Rhinebeck. Tambi\u00e9n aporta 15 a\u00f1os de experiencia en arte y performance contempor\u00e1neos, como artista visual, core\u00f3grafa, directora y comisaria, viviendo y trabajando en Estados Unidos, Francia y Taiw\u00e1n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originaria de Francia, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne pas\u00f3 su infancia en Par\u00eds, Nueva York, Londres y Los \u00c1ngeles, pero ahora est\u00e1 firmemente arraigada en Saugerties\/Woodstock, con lazos familiares multigeneracionales a ambos lados del r\u00edo. Est\u00e1 criando a dos hijas con su marido, y les atribuye el m\u00e9rito de haber avivado su compromiso de apoyar a las mujeres y las ni\u00f1as a medida que forjan sus caminos en los negocios, el arte y el activismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante el \u00faltimo mes y medio, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne nos ha impresionado a todos con su inteligencia, calidez y compromiso con nuestra misi\u00f3n. Micah grew up in Mt.Vernon, NY with a family of strong women who guided him and showed him how to work with purpose and love while serving community, as well as a father who taught him to always widen his perspective. But even with this strong foundation, he struggled with fear of the world, a lack of motivation, and what would have most likely been diagnosed as depression. Through time, deep self-work, fatherhood, and connection, Micah learned to discard the self-defining term \u201cshy\u201d, understanding that he doesn\u2019t need to define himself at all, but rather is free to feel and act as he chooses in the present. With this new awareness, Micah began forging a new path. Pero incluso con esta s\u00f3lida base, luch\u00f3 contra el miedo al mundo, la falta de motivaci\u00f3n y lo que probablemente se habr\u00eda diagnosticado como depresi\u00f3n. Con el tiempo, un profundo trabajo personal, la paternidad y la conexi\u00f3n, Micah aprendi\u00f3 a descartar el t\u00e9rmino \"t\u00edmido\", entendiendo que no necesita definirse a s\u00ed mismo, sino que es libre de sentir y actuar como quiera en el presente. Con esta nueva conciencia, Micah empez\u00f3 a forjarse un nuevo camino.
