Como estudiante y profesional de la facilitaci\u00f3n, me encanta que en este nuevo modelo de trabajo conjunto estemos desarrollando nuestra conciencia de proceso. Una de las formas en que concibo la facilitaci\u00f3n es como una pr\u00e1ctica, y una disciplina, de perseguir tenazmente un sentido de claridad sobre hacia d\u00f3nde puede y quiere ir un grupo, y de planificar intencionadamente una (o varias) formas de llegar all\u00ed. Cuando nos embarcamos en este viaje, nos dimos cuenta de que si quer\u00edamos respetar todas las voces y perspectivas, no pod\u00edamos limitarnos a una forma impl\u00edcita de debatir, sino que deb\u00edamos tomar decisiones conscientes para que las reuniones fueran diferentes. Tuve una experiencia de esto al principio, cuando pude sentir una clara diferencia en la forma en que compart\u00edamos el poder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La palabra propuesta es ahora una parte importante de nuestro vocabulario. Una de las primeras veces que practicamos nuestro nuevo proceso de toma de decisiones sobre el consentimiento<\/a>Lo hicimos con una simple propuesta para ampliar la duraci\u00f3n de la pr\u00f3xima reuni\u00f3n. Cuando lleg\u00f3 el momento de reaccionar a la propuesta, tom\u00e9 la palabra en primer lugar y habl\u00e9 de la abrumadora cantidad de cosas que ten\u00eda entre manos en ese momento y del tiempo que necesitaba para preparar uno de los puntos del orden del d\u00eda de la siguiente reuni\u00f3n. B\u00e1sicamente, estaba indicando que me opon\u00eda a prolongar la reuni\u00f3n. En una reuni\u00f3n normal, los dem\u00e1s habr\u00edan intervenido -o guardado silencio- en un orden aleatorio. Lo m\u00e1s probable es que los comentarios hubieran dependido de lo que yo hubiera dicho primero. Habr\u00eda esperado que la propuesta de prolongar la reuni\u00f3n se rechazara r\u00e1pidamente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pero hab\u00edamos elegido un proceso diferente, y procedimos alrededor del c\u00edrculo para escuchar cada voz. Seg\u00fan nuestro proceso, en lugar de ajustar su reacci\u00f3n en funci\u00f3n de lo que yo compart\u00eda, la siguiente persona coment\u00f3 la propuesta original y afirm\u00f3 nuestra necesidad compartida de m\u00e1s tiempo de reuni\u00f3n. A medida que se desarrollaba el proceso y se equilibraban nuestras voces, pude sentir claramente c\u00f3mo a menudo puede haber poder ligado a la perspectiva de la persona que habla primero y, en este caso, c\u00f3mo el proceso que hab\u00edamos elegido practicar lo disminu\u00eda. En los pocos minutos que tardamos en completar el c\u00edrculo, surgi\u00f3 una propuesta modificada para alargar la reuni\u00f3n y posponer el punto del orden del d\u00eda que me preocupaba por no tener tiempo suficiente para preparar. Compartir el poder nos llev\u00f3 a una propuesta mejor, creada conjuntamente, que satisfac\u00eda todas las necesidades -las m\u00edas y las nuestras- y todos la aprobamos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antes de esta experiencia, cre\u00eda que el proceso es muy importante. Desde entonces, pienso en ello como una piedra de toque que me recuerda que compartir el poder puede parecer al principio como renunciar a la influencia, pero puede crear m\u00e1s potencial para un resultado que satisfaga al conjunto. Y tanto si el resultado satisface mis propias necesidades como si no, ceder algo de influencia para poner en pr\u00e1ctica valores compartidos me parece una compensaci\u00f3n que merece la pena.  <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

But even with this strong foundation, he struggled with fear of the world, a lack of motivation, and what would have most likely been diagnosed as depression. Through time, deep self-work, fatherhood, and connection, Micah learned to discard the self-defining term \u201cshy\u201d, understanding that he doesn\u2019t need to define himself at all, but rather is free to feel and act as he chooses in the present. With this new awareness, Micah began forging a new path. Con esta nueva conciencia, Micah empez\u00f3 a forjarse un nuevo camino.
