Al igual que muchos en nuestra comunidad, soportamos el impacto del caos federal y el estr\u00e9s local, y nos enfrentamos a crisis personales y problemas de salud. En medio de todo eso, profundizamos nuestras relaciones y forjamos nuevos caminos para avanzar juntos, con impulso, sin dejar de cultivar la alegr\u00eda.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es nuestro papel en una \u00e9poca de inestabilidad y cambios?<\/strong> Los cambios que estamos atravesando son intensos y nos exigen dar un paso al frente. Respondimos reorientando nuestros programas y creando otros nuevos, ofreciendo a los miembros de nuestra comunidad oportunidades para aprender, recargar energ\u00edas y conectarse, como una forma de \u201calcanzar un prop\u00f3sito com\u00fan ante la incertidumbre\u201d. Reforzamos nuestra resiliencia interna y nuestras medidas de seguridad, como organizaci\u00f3n en la que muchos conf\u00edan para realizar su \u00abBuen Trabajo\u00bb, con el fin de que todos pudi\u00e9ramos seguir construyendo los sistemas de atenci\u00f3n y equidad que necesitamos. Renovamos nuestro compromiso de ofrecer espacios para las conversaciones dif\u00edciles que hab\u00eda que tener y el dolor que hab\u00eda que expresar. Creamos espacios de alegr\u00eda, celebraci\u00f3n y bienestar, priorizando la conexi\u00f3n y la claridad de prop\u00f3sito. \u00a1Tambi\u00e9n celebramos nuestro d\u00e9cimo aniversario con una href=\"https:\/\/goodworkinstitute.org\/es\/fiscal-sponsorship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">programa de patrocinio fiscal<\/a> Aceptamos y redistribuimos fondos para proyectos ben\u00e9ficos. A medida que las instituciones y los sistemas se desmoronan y son objeto de ataques deliberados y desmantelamientos, el patrocinio fiscal permite que las nuevas ideas echen ra\u00edces r\u00e1pidamente. El a\u00f1o pasado, incorporamos proyectos relacionados con la protecci\u00f3n de los inmigrantes, el acceso a alimentos a trav\u00e9s de granjas, el acceso equitativo a la vivienda y la propiedad, y programas para j\u00f3venes encarcelados. Nuestros nuevos proyectos educativos se centran en fomentar la comprensi\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica y la conexi\u00f3n con la tierra, as\u00ed como en ampliar el acceso a las artes. Desde el inicio de nuestro programa en 2018, hemos ayudado a m\u00e1s de 45 proyectos patrocinados fiscalmente a acceder a m\u00e1s de 1512 millones de d\u00f3lares en fondos ben\u00e9ficos. Trabajamos para ofrecer un espacio c\u00e1lido, acogedor y luminoso, con tarifas variables o de forma gratuita para los eventos p\u00fablicos. Los espacios de la planta superior albergan a organizaciones residentes, a las que se les ofrece un lugar asequible para reunirse y trabajar, y Kingston Common Futures tambi\u00e9n ten\u00eda su propia oficina en la planta baja. Seguimos colaborando con miembros de la comunidad y organizaciones para ofrecer sanaci\u00f3n con sonido, exposiciones de arte y reuniones de duelo clim\u00e1tico, mientras que los miembros de la comunidad dirigen sesiones de meditaci\u00f3n, clubes de lectura y otras experiencias de aprendizaje y sanaci\u00f3n. Desde sus inicios como un <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goodworkinstitute.org\/es\/building-community-wealth\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un recorrido de aprendizaje de nueve meses<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y un proceso colaborativo con 18 miembros de la comunidad de Kingston para dise\u00f1ar un fondo de subvenciones centrado en la comunidad, hasta el primer a\u00f1o piloto de concesi\u00f3n de subvenciones a trav\u00e9s de <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/kingstoncommonfutures.org\/\"><b>Futuros comunes de Kingston<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a1GWI sigue actuando como asesor pr\u00e1ctico y socio de incubaci\u00f3n, y tambi\u00e9n ofrece la modalidad m\u00e1s compleja de patrocinio fiscal (Modelo A), que permite a KCF centrarse en su misi\u00f3n de participaci\u00f3n comunitaria y asignaci\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica de fondos de subvenciones a proyectos comunitarios!.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En su a\u00f1o piloto, con solo tres miembros del personal (algunos a tiempo parcial), KCF involucr\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 200 personas de la comunidad y lleg\u00f3 a muchas m\u00e1s: siete miembros del equipo de calle para difundir el mensaje en diversas comunidades; ocho miembros del equipo asesor; 23 mentores voluntarios para apoyar a 55 de los solicitantes que pidieron ayuda; 34 lectores voluntarios para evaluar las solicitudes; 8 miembros voluntarios del C\u00edrculo de Decisi\u00f3n que tomaron las decisiones finales de financiaci\u00f3n tras deliberar; con un total de 140 proyectos que presentaron una carta de intenci\u00f3n, de los cuales 107 pasaron a la solicitud completa. El proceso del C\u00edrculo de Decisi\u00f3n fue facilitado por GWI, con dos d\u00edas de entrevistas a los finalistas y dos d\u00edas de deliberaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para el oto\u00f1o, se hab\u00edan asignado $150K de fondos a 11 proyectos, con subvenciones que oscilaban entre $5,000 y $32,000, y que abarcaban una amplia variedad de iniciativas comunitarias.
