Erik ha dirigido equipos, oficinas y organizaciones de defensa del medio ambiente, desarrollo sostenible y diversos grupos art\u00edsticos, por no hablar de sus estancias en Alaska y su navegaci\u00f3n por el Mar de los Sargazos. Colaborador de la National Wildlife Federation, el Sierra Club y el NRDC, Erik ha trabajado continuamente para proteger nuestro medio ambiente. Erik pasa la mayor\u00eda de los fines de semana de excursi\u00f3n con sus dos cachorros por toda la regi\u00f3n.
