Es conocido por su estilo \u00fanico de composici\u00f3n, que a\u00fana la m\u00fasica folk con el hip hop y el cambio social a trav\u00e9s de la acci\u00f3n comunitaria, utilizando el ritmo y las palabras para ser formalmente innovador y conscientemente progresista. Su \u00e1lbum de 2015, \"Bread and Oats\", le llev\u00f3 a un a\u00f1o lleno de \u00e9xitos: actu\u00f3 por todo Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1, fue cabeza de cartel de un festival en el noroeste del Pac\u00edfico, concedi\u00f3 entrevistas para MTV y NPR, y recibi\u00f3 cr\u00edticas muy favorables de publicaciones de medios como Chronogram, Upstater y AfroPunk. Aprovechando la ola del a\u00f1o pasado, 2016 est\u00e1 llamado a ser a\u00fan m\u00e1s exitoso.
