Es propietaria de Design Wild, una empresa de dise\u00f1o paisaj\u00edstico colaborativo con sede en Nueva York. Shanti cree firmemente en el cambio positivo que los espacios verdes aportan a las personas, los lugares y la cultura. Shanti fund\u00f3 su propia granja de verduras org\u00e1nicas a los 20 a\u00f1os, vendiendo en los mercados de agricultores locales, as\u00ed como la creaci\u00f3n de un CSA. Tras varios a\u00f1os en activo, pas\u00f3 de la agricultura rural a la urbana, gestionando una de las mayores granjas urbanas de Nueva York. Shanti se gradu\u00f3 en la Escuela de Horticultura Profesional del Jard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico de Nueva York, es horticultora y dise\u00f1adora de jardines.
