Antes de fundar y dirigir el Good Work Institute, Matt era el empleado con m\u00e1s antig\u00fcedad y el vicepresidente de Valores e Impacto de Etsy.com. En ese puesto supervis\u00f3 la gesti\u00f3n de la visi\u00f3n, la misi\u00f3n y los valores de la empresa, y trabaj\u00f3 para dar a todos los empleados los medios y el deseo de maximizar el beneficio que su trabajo tiene sobre las personas y el planeta.<\/p>\n

En 2013, fue nombrado \"Figura del Progreso\" por la revista GOOD. Al a\u00f1o siguiente fue incluido en la lista Purpose Economy 100. En 2016, se convirti\u00f3 en miembro de BALLE Local Economy. Adem\u00e1s de presidir el consejo de GWI, Matt tambi\u00e9n forma parte del consejo de administraci\u00f3n del Schumacher Center for New Economics (presidente) y de la Hawthorne Valley Association. Es licenciado por el Oberlin College y candidato a un m\u00e1ster en Ciencia y Pol\u00edtica del Clima por el Bard College.
