Onaje comparte su fascinante e inspiradora trayectoria vital. Sus experiencias han reconfigurado la lente que utiliza para ver el mundo, tanto a simple vista como detr\u00e1s del objetivo de una c\u00e1mara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este cap\u00edtulo actual de su vida, Onaje est\u00e1 plenamente centrado en su arte, la fotograf\u00eda y la enmarcaci\u00f3n de cuadros a medida en Ujamaa Studio. Su fotograf\u00eda refleja su pasi\u00f3n por la justicia social y el activismo. Las im\u00e1genes captan entornos urbanos y las tensiones culturales y art\u00edsticas que evolucionan en estos entornos en r\u00e1pida transformaci\u00f3n. Su obra abarca desde im\u00e1genes de grafiteros callejeros y muralistas hasta retratos de gente de la calle y la evoluci\u00f3n estructural y arquitect\u00f3nica que simboliza el aburguesamiento y el desarraigo de las comunidades desfavorecidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su obra se expone actualmente en el GWI Greenhouse (65 St. James Street, Kingston) como parte de la nueva exposici\u00f3n del Soul Reflections Artist Collective titulada \"Kingston: People, Places &amp; Things\". La inauguraci\u00f3n tendr\u00e1 lugar el s\u00e1bado 21 de octubre de 13.00 a 18.00 horas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acerca de Ujamaa Studio:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ujamaa es un t\u00e9rmino swahili que designa la econom\u00eda cooperativa y la vida familiar. La misi\u00f3n de Ujamaa Studio es apoyar el trabajo de artistas hist\u00f3ricamente marginados, especialmente los afectados por el sistema estadounidense de encarcelamiento masivo.
