Hay un matem\u00e1tico en este episodio de La Hora del Buen Trabajo. Japheth Wood se une a las copresentadoras Terri y H\u00e9l\u00e8ne para hablar de la importancia de las matem\u00e1ticas en nuestras vidas, de c\u00f3mo las matem\u00e1ticas influyen en nuestro pensamiento y de c\u00f3mo los programas en los que participa se alinean con el trabajo de Transici\u00f3n Justa. Japheth es un matem\u00e1tico comprometido con la educaci\u00f3n matem\u00e1tica de los estudiantes a muchos niveles. Es profesor asociado permanente de Matem\u00e1ticas en el Bard College, con responsabilidades en el Departamento de Matem\u00e1ticas y en Alfabetizaci\u00f3n Cuantitativa. Japheth tambi\u00e9n ha impartido clases con la Bard Prison Initiative en el Eastern Correctional Facility de Napanoch. Dirige el Bard Math Circle, que se centra en las matem\u00e1ticas de ense\u00f1anza media en la regi\u00f3n del Mid-Hudson.
