Con demasiada frecuencia, la \u201cparticipaci\u00f3n comunitaria\u201d se reduce a una cuesti\u00f3n de relaciones p\u00fablicas, accesible principalmente para quienes disponen de tiempo, contactos y conocimientos privilegiados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta charla presenta \u00abCreative Instigation\u00bb: un enfoque para lograr un compromiso aut\u00e9ntico que combina los m\u00e9todos de campo de los documentalistas y los etn\u00f3grafos, el rigor estrat\u00e9gico de los organizadores comunitarios, la profundidad contextual de la investigaci\u00f3n cualitativa y el periodismo, y la imaginaci\u00f3n arraigada de los artistas comprometidos socialmente. <strong>El objetivo no es una participaci\u00f3n meramente simb\u00f3lica, sino un cambio institucional y social duradero.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bas\u00e1ndose en proyectos complejos de varios a\u00f1os de duraci\u00f3n que abarcan el condado rural de Maui, el \u00e1rea metropolitana de Phoenix, las comunidades activistas del \u00e1rea de la Bah\u00eda de San Francisco y el panorama corporativo de una empresa biotecnol\u00f3gica global, Fern Tiger describir\u00e1 iniciativas creativas destinadas a reequilibrar el poder y hacer frente a las desigualdades sociales, econ\u00f3micas y pol\u00edticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su m\u00e1xima expresi\u00f3n, la \u00abinstigaci\u00f3n creativa\u00bb va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de informar a los responsables de la toma de decisiones. En una \u00e9poca en la que la confianza en las instituciones se est\u00e1 erosionando y la desigualdad se agranda, la participaci\u00f3n aut\u00e9ntica no es opcional: es fundamental para la propia democracia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Acerca de Fern Tiger<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fern Tiger es la fundadora y directora creativa de Fern Tiger Associates (FTA), con sede en Oakland, California. La empresa se basa en la convicci\u00f3n de que \u201ccon una estrategia reflexiva y un dise\u00f1o innovador, el cambio social positivo y constructivo no solo es posible, sino que es inevitable\u201d.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Formada en arte y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, con estudios avanzados en relaciones entre el ser humano y el medio ambiente, as\u00ed como en arte y cognici\u00f3n, Fern Tiger ha desarrollado un enfoque transdisciplinario de la estrategia y la investigaci\u00f3n, que tiende un puente entre la investigaci\u00f3n creativa y el pensamiento sist\u00e9mico y de pol\u00edticas.
