He came to Pride Media in 2011 from Washington, D.C., where he was managing editor for online at National Journal magazine, covering politics and policy making. He has won three national Sigma Delta Chi reporting awards from the Society of Professional Journalists. Grindley also serves on the board for the Institute for Nonprofit News, which is devoted to strengthening independent news organizations and democracy."}
